Good Morning NOLA!  Happy Hump Day in the Crescent City to you guys. Spring has always been my favorite time to be in the Quarter. Our  high will be in the eighties today.  It is great weather to get out and do something. There will be some clouds today and possibly a stray shower or two even though the chance is only ten percent today.  It never hurts to keep the umbrella handy even though the sun is back and will stay with us until probably mid-week.  There is still lots going on in the city as usual.  Easter week is here.  I’m thinking a crawfish boil for Good Friday sounds awesome.  Jazz Fest is just around the corner and the line-up looks awesome as usual.  I will  be at the 1850′s House Store sigining books in a couple of weeks. I will let you know exact dates as I get them. Good Morning NOLA!  How are y’all on this Sunday morning?  Enjoy your morning, go to church and run your errands before the rain gets here again.   Yes sir, it’s back. Get ready for a rainy week ahead. The forecast has upped the chance of rain for us today to eighty percent.  There will be some thunder. If you are out and about rain boots and coats and at the very least umbrellas are in order.  Today may be the perrfect day to hang out on the couch and watch a little television or crack open that book you have been wanting to get to.  Highs in the sixties with the low in the mid fifties for tonight.  I think I will take my own advice and have a lazy day listening to the rain on cobblestones in the courtyard and get some writing done.  Since I am scheduled to be back on set tomorrow for the new Bruce Willis sci-fi thriller Looper I will enjoy the down time.  Back to work tomorrow guys.  Enjoy your Sunday and I’ll see you in NOLA!

Good Morning NOLA!  Happy Thursday! Very exciting stuff happening on this end.  Through 3pm: Widespread showers and thunderstorms developing around early afternoon. Partly cloudy with temperatures steady in the low 80s. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Later this evening look for variable clouds with thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon hours. A few storms may be severe. High 88F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Good Morning NOLA!  It’s Friday and the second day of French Quarter Fest.  It will be cloudythis morning but will warm up as the day goes on.The high will be in the upper eighties today.  No chance of the wet stuff until possibly next Monday.  The forecast shows no rain. There will be some clouds but the sun should stay with us through weekend. There will be lots going on as usual.  French Quarter Fest is this weekend so lots of fun stuff going on in the Quarter.  Music, Food, people, what’s not to like. It is the largest free music festival in Louisiana.  All this in a thirteen block area!  Good Morning NOLA! It is another beautiful spring like day.  Hight today just nosing over the seventy degree mark with plenty of sun on this hump day.  What a great week we have had so far and there is more to come.  It looks like our overnight lows will stay in the fifties with sunny days in the seventies for the next several days. You won’t need the jacket today.  I am mentally going through my closet and trying to think of what I can wear that will be right for this warm day but not too spring like.  After all it is still February. No rain in the forecast until mid week next week and then it is just a few showers.  Saturday starts the first parrade for the 2011 Mardi Gras season.  What great weather to get things kicked off.  I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and the rest of your week is just as great.  I know I will be soaking up this sunshine.  See you in NOLA!

 Good Morning NOLA!  It’s cold and it’s wet!  Yuck!  I bet you didn’t need me to tell you that.  The rain is here for the next couple of days and as cold as it is there is a chance for sleet and even possible snow.  This is not the kind of weather you want to be out and about in.  Personally my plans revolve around my bed and my couch for the next few days.  The highs are barely getting out of the thirties if that.  Our lows are staying in the thirties over night.  Don’t forget to take care of the pipes, the pets and your peeps.  It is cold out there.  For you northern transplants out there it might be a joke to you but this is serious weather for us. We are not used to frozen rain or snowballs, unless it’s the kind you get from the snowball stand in the sweltering summer.  Have a great day whatever your plans are and I’ll see you in NOLA! …. after it warms up .
