Has anyone went to Louisiana Tech University in Ruston?

I am considering going to Louisiana Tech in Ruston and want the opinion on someone who went there or currently attends there. Is it a good school and what is the student life like. Ruston seems like a small place so is there a lot of things that the students can do to experience the “college life”?

I will be enrolling in their online program in the Fall 09. I won’t be going on campus so I can’t give info. on student life, but from what I hear it is a good school.

Yes, the colors are red and white for ULouisiana’s school, but I consider orange to be better because the logo sticks out. It used to be the main school for the University of Louisiana system, but to avoid confusion with UL-Monroe, its placename is added; the university used to be called University of Southern Louisiana. Now just to be clear, this is not the fight song of Lafayette College of Pennsylvania.
The fight song somehow grows on you because it sounds like the song is meant to give the heebie-jeebies to anyone not attending the school-especially if you are in a Sun Belt Conference school!
