Felony theft in Louisiana?
What could someone expect as an outcome from an original felony theft charge in the amount of 1000 from a sporting goods store? Also having a marijuana felony conviction thats over 10 years old?
It states that the original charge carries up to 10yrs
Is a reduced sentence to a misdemeanor with some kind of fine and or probation likely?

ARS 13-2308 (Participating in or assisting a criminal syndicate) — class 2 felony
ARS 13-2311 (Fraudulent Schemes and Practices) — class 5 felony
ARS 13-2310 (Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices) — class 2 felony
ARS 13-1804 (Theft by Extortion) — class 4 felony
ARS 13-1802 (Theft of over $400k) — class 2 felony
Not to mention, a federal prosecution under the RICO Act….
I have no problems with actions that really do improve road safety, but I am shocked that private enterprise would disguise making a profit off of people's backs in the process.

I am curious to know what you think about this. You speak of level 3 offenders as being dangerous.
Would you say that a man who is arrested for having consensual sex with a 15 yr. old (2 weeks shy of 16) yr. old prostitute who lied to him about her age and to the police is a dangerous person? I know that there are many on the register like this who were given level 3 and a felony even though they never had a felony before.
