Oil Spill Threatening Fishing Economy, Culture in Louisiana

Deferal of …
Deferal of responsibilty will have oil on Miami beach in a month, the toxic blended plumes will kill fish on it’s journey to the Atlantic current as well. Drop everything America this is the real threat to your country.
Thanks BP, Boots & …
Thanks BP, Boots & Coots, Dick Cheney, KBR, Haliburton and of course the intentionally incompetent US Government….
Praise Allah that humanity has you!
Subversive war …
Subversive war tactic on the people of Louisiana and the gulf coast.
Chemical warfare .
Your elected POTUS can’t even prove he was born on US soil – prepare yourself for more subversion. You pay the government to kill you.
Full blown fascism:
Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.
Benito Mussolini
The Federal Reserve Note – they print up and create out of thin air, compensation in worthless paper.
Yet another doctrine that tries to water down the gospel and make it less threatening to people. Its just a version of the “there is no hell, we all go to heaven” nonsense.
Due to large spill location, a loose absorbent was key in keeping the spill from reaching bodies of water, soil, etc. For future spills or for one like this one, they can keep a few bags or a pallet of PIG DRI on hand or close by (such as town or municipal facilities) and this type of loose absorbent could be easily removed using the street sweeper. This product can be incinerated so it will be reduced in quantity for disposal thereby saving money as opposed to the sand. They can also keep a small/medium spill kit on hand, in the truck or again at the municipal facilities for future spill response. They seemed to do well with cleaning of the spill with what they had on hand.
To be fair there is a point to saying that the American worker has benefited from the union movement. But one has to recognize that those benefits ended some 50 years ago or more. Today unions are little more than a parasite on the economy sapping the strength of key industries.
I've been wondering today, too, if the polls are correct about Louisiana. Since I teach many white, freshman, first-generation college students from rural areas in Louisiana, I often feel that I have a clear sense of how an election will go. A Bush victory in Louisiana was clear before the 2000 and 2004 elections, but I'm hearing *no* pro-McCain sentiment in my classes now. I also wonder how Katrina figures in among otherwise Republican voters in Louisiana. I wonder if the pollsters are actually calling people or if they're simply relying on the traditional redness of Louisiana in their projections?
Dear Fishing Videos,
Thank you for sharing this article with your readers/viewers. Today's article is how barometric pressure affects fish and fishing. Later this week, I'll have the “Fish Log” ready.
Keeping a “Fishing Log” (info about fishing conditions, location, season, etc.) and a “Fish Log” (fish caught, where, size, bait used, etc.) are 2 of the best ways I've been able to increase my fishing success.
To your fishing success,
Marylouise
