Yes, that reincarnation and rebirth thing is a topic that confuses many. In Hinduism, reincarnation is the rebirth of an individual soul/self (atman) that continues from lifetime to lifetime, whereas Buddhist rebirth maintains the absence of soul, or not-self (anatman). So like the river analogy, instead of a singular soul, we're talking more like a mind stream that continues from lifetime to lifetime.

I think the Millenials, don’t really have much of a choice. The Republican party has made it clear that they are the party of the post-65 crowd. Yes to medicare, no to healthcare for children and working people. Constant references to the “real America” though young people are more likely to live in cities, more likely to be mixed-race or the children of immigrants, and taxes breaks to the rich, which with the exception of trust-fund babies, translates also into older people.
