Your adventures make great reading. Nora Grove has been forwarding them to me. Beverly and I have just returned from 6 weeks teaching and safari-ing in Tanzania. You can catch our adventures on my site, although it is nowhere near as sophisticated as yours.
Isn't it wonderful to be able to go anywhere on the planet and be welcomed as a teacher!

Linda, thrilled to be reading about your teaching adventures! I believe that going on a retreat with your students is probably the coolest idea for getting to know them. Outside-the-classroom interaction, seeing into their lives before the year really gets underway, what a fabulous way to start off a teaching job, or career- whatever it may happen to be. Really hoping to see your face and hear about your new adventures in person, sometime soon perhaps?!!!
