Good Morning NOLA! Happy Hump Day in the Crescent City to you guys. Spring has always been my favorite time to be in the Quarter. Our high will be in the eighties today. It is great weather to get out and do something. There will be some clouds today and possibly a stray shower or two even though the chance is only ten percent today. It never hurts to keep the umbrella handy even though the sun is back and will stay with us until probably mid-week. There is still lots going on in the city as usual. Easter week is here. I’m thinking a crawfish boil for Good Friday sounds awesome. Jazz Fest is just around the corner and the line-up looks awesome as usual. I will be at the 1850′s House Store sigining books in a couple of weeks. I will let you know exact dates as I get them. So make plans to come out a get your personalized copies of “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!” and “IF I Were A French Quarter Rat”. Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy! See y’all in NOLA!

No. I am sorry for your loss, but unfortunately for your circumstances there is no such thing. Well, there are of course people who make absurd claims of being able to investigate such things, but I am sorry to tell you that in reality, one cannot perform any such tasks outside of a movie studio.

I’m in louisiana. It would probably be like, alabama, mississippi, florida, and back.
It’d be a car on top of hotel expenses and cheap food.

What it is a road trip. I just wanna go, nowhere in specific.
But I need to know about how much money.
I wouldn’t be doing much, just getting away.

So about how much?

Well, the best road trips are the ones that don’t have too many restrictions. Sounds like you’re off to a good start. I guess it would also depend on how long you’ll be gone, how much it’ll cost. I’d say roughtly $1200 a month.

A good place to start for more info with calculating gas, mileage, and money stuff is a site called TripAdvisor.com You just enter the states, and it’ll suggest places to stay, things to see, and there’s a mileage calculator there too.

One cheap way to stay is hostels along the way. If you are flexible with dates, hostels are cheap and a great way to meet people who are also traveling.

Good Morning NOLA! How are y’all on this Sunday morning? Enjoy your morning, go to church and run your errands before the rain gets here again. Yes sir, it’s back. Get ready for a rainy week ahead. The forecast has upped the chance of rain for us today to eighty percent. There will be some thunder. If you are out and about rain boots and coats and at the very least umbrellas are in order. Today may be the perrfect day to hang out on the couch and watch a little television or crack open that book you have been wanting to get to. Highs in the sixties with the low in the mid fifties for tonight. I think I will take my own advice and have a lazy day listening to the rain on cobblestones in the courtyard and get some writing done. Since I am scheduled to be back on set tomorrow for the new Bruce Willis sci-fi thriller Looper I will enjoy the down time. Back to work tomorrow guys. Enjoy your Sunday and I’ll see you in NOLA!

I have to make a Louisiana ornament (I’m from LA) and I need to pick a theme:

Sports
Festivals
symbols
or
food

I know what symbols I can use for these, but I don’t know what supplies to use.
I’m in 8th grade so I want it to be nice, and not look like a printed something offline and stuck it on something.

I want to get a styrofoam ball put purple gold and greem glitter all over it and do festivals using:

Voodoo fest
crawfish fest
and mardi gras

Please give me some cute ideas. and no ceramic because irt has to hang on a christmas tree and if it can’t hang i lose like 20 pts!!!!!

get mardi gras beads and use that as a garland around the tree. you should stick to one theme. i would use mardi gras so you could use little sequins, beads, and masks. good luck. Look for organza material and material with sequins on it to make you tree/ornament look sparkly

or

get a stryofoam ball. cover it with sparkly festive material. Then, across the ball of it, glue a mardi gras mask. for the string to hang on the ornament, use mardi gras beads. do the top and the bottom in sequins to cover up the top where the string was
