Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana video 6.. the festival

Oak Alley Plantation October 2010 quite interesting I think the house is actually haunted..there were deaths in there. I found it very odd they would not let us in the kitchen and we could NOT enter on the 3rd floor at all. They tried saying it was a fire hazard! whatever! there happened to be a festival there that day so it ended up being really fun. I did manage to get some video of inside the plantation although for some reason they said camaras were not allowed. Watch the other video’s and you will be able to see the inside!!!

Good Morning NOLA!  I am really loving this sunshine.  I can’t get enough of it.  It looks like we have another beautiful day shaping up out there.  I can’t wait to get out there and hit the streets.  Our highs around the Big Easy for today are in the upper sixities nudging right at that seventies mark.  Maybe a light jacket or sweater to start the morning but it will probably be tied around your neck by lunch time.  Only a ten percent chance of rain today.  Beware for tomorow though.  The chance goes up to seventy percent but dropping to twenty percent for Monday. I really hope it drops a little more.  I have a night shoot scheduled for Monday night and it will be a street scene.  Have I told you I hate cold and damp?  Anyway, I plan to make the most of today and spend most of it “rattin” around the French Quarter. Maybe a little brunch at the Court of Two Sisters to start off my day. Y’all have a wonderful weekend.  I’ll see you in NOLA!

Good Morning NOLA! Have a terrific Thursday. Through 3pmwe will see widespread showers and thunderstorms developing by early afternoon. Partly cloudy with temperatures steady in the upper 80s. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%.  Sunshine and a few clouds. A stray afternoon thunderstorm is possible. High 94F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Partly cloudy skies. Low 78F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph.  Check out the new exhibit at the THNOC.  The Creole Tomato Festival is next weekend.  This city never sleeps so don’t miss a thing . I hope your  plans include music.  It is good for the soul. The weather should cooperate so get out and enjoy.  The week ahead looks pretty good. Don’t worry about those scattered showers over the week ahead but all in all looks great. The book siginings at the 1850′s House Store went great. They still have books in the store and I am back in the Quarter. So make plans to come out a get your personalized copies of “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!” and “IF I Were A French Quarter Rat”.  Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy! See y’all in NOLA!
